Alyssa has a background in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology, and a Master’s in child and family studies with an emphasis on human development and counseling. She also serves as the diagnostician for the Irlen International headquarters’ regional clinic in Long Beach, California. Alyssa is especially interested in studying the body’s response to color, and she has an ongoing pilot study to better understand this phenomenon. Alyssa lives in Long Beach with her husband, two boys, two cats, and two dogs.
